Personal prayer themes and prayer points are vital for every Christian.
This was the famous request of the disciples to the Lord Jesus Christ when one day he came down from the mountainside and sat with them.
They recognized then what every Christian should know today, namely this:
The Christian life is impossible without a personal life of prayer.
However, knowing how to pray is just one of the things you should know.
It is equally important to know what to pray for. This has as much impact on results as knowing how to pray, because what you pray speaks to your motives and whether or not God would answer it.
Every Christian should strive to lead a personal prayer life. Praying alone and alone is probably more difficult than congregational prayer, which takes place at church or in a group with other people around you.
Still, it is the type of prayer that creates the best fellowship, greater intimacy, and deeper communication with God.
Private prayer is irreplaceable in the Christian life.

Love is the fulfillment of God's law in the New Testament. It is the supreme principle of life in the kingdom of God. Every Christian is required and expected to make love a way of life and live in love always.
Your maturity in God is determined by how much of God's love is within you and how much of it you extend to others.
It shows that you have been filled with the fullness of God. (see Eph. 3:19-20)
As you grow in love, you become fuller of the presence of God and your appreciation for God, others, and your purpose in Christ changes greatly. You become more like Christ as you walk in love.
I dare say that this should be the first of your prayer topics. True love is self-giving and is not just words, but actions—crucial actions that put others ahead of themselves.
A very convincing description of love and its divine qualities is found in 1 Corinthians 13.
Love is patient, love is kind.
love does not envy
is not boastful, is not conceited,
does not act inappropriately
is not selfish, is not provoked,
and keeps no record of injustice.
Love finds no joy in injustice
but rejoices in the truth.
It endures everything, believes everything,
hopes all, endures all.
love never ends
1. Korinther 13:4–8, HCSB
Make it a daily commitment to pray for God's grace to walk in that kind of love.
There are very few things that are impossible according to the Word of God. The Bible says soimpossiblepleasing God without faith.
Therefore, it is important for a child of God not only to learn the message of faith in God, but also to make it a part of your daily life.
Faith is the beginning of the Christian life. One becomes a Christian, or a believer, well, by believing - believing in Jesus Christ and what He did for mankind on the cross of Calvary. This belief in the gospel brings a person to new life in Christ Jesus.
Faith in God will help you walk closely with the Lord and always do what God says. It is that quality of building your life on what God says and living by His principles, expectations, and standards.
It's what makes you enjoy all that God has done for you in Christ Jesus.
Faith is a necessary requirement to walk with a God that you cannot see with your natural eyes.
Faith is a necessary requirement to walk with a God that you cannot see with your natural eyes.
The disciples asked Jesus to increase their faith, and Jesus explained that what matters most is that you be able to live by the faith you have.
Asking God to help you trust Him and walk by faith in Him is one of the greatest prayers you can pray to improve your life and guide your spiritual growth.

Grace is the beauty of God in a person's life.
Grace is the beauty of God in a person's life.
One of the most common definitions of grace is that it is undeserved favor. We find this grace of God expressed on many levels in many ways.
The first manifestation of God's grace is that which has provided fallen man with a way of salvation. The Bible shows that God's grace, which brings salvation, brought in Jesus to save man. (see Titus 2:11-14)
Furthermore, the grace of God is necessary to receive all of the blessings that God has in store for His children. It is important to understand that God's blessings are not earned through meritorious works.
This important understanding means that you attribute all of the success, excellence, and glory of your life to God, who places His own beauty upon your life and gives you His grace to be all you are.
This beauty leads to favor, blessing, advantage, and the power to do things beyond human ability and expect divine results.
Every Christian has been given the grace of God, but it is important to grow in it and learn how not to frustrate her when she works for you. It's a great idea to pray daily for God to give you more and more grace.
The more grace you can attract and receive, the more divine results you can achieve without struggle.
The more grace you use, the more blessings of God you will see manifest in your life daily.
The more grace you use, the more blessings of God you will see manifest in your life daily.
Scripture declares that God is the giver of grace and that he always gives more grace to whoever receives it. (see James 4:6, Romans 5:17)
Always pray that God will increase His grace in your life.

Revelation refers to insight, knowledge of hidden things. To know God, it must be through revelation. God is the only one who knows all things and is aware of all things.
But for the people, the things we don't know are made known to us by one revelation or another.
Revelation also addresses the ability to uncover spiritual insights in the Word of God that are practical and can bring results to whatever you are dealing with.
It's one thing to read Scripture; It is quite another thing to look to these biblical examples for wisdom, ideas, and a pattern or solution for dealing with a current problem you are facing.
The way to see this from the Bible is divine revelation in God's Word.
And He gave His Word for that purpose - that we might know Him and know what to do by His Word.
The spirit of wisdom and revelation will open your eyes to see what others will not see about God even though they read the Bible.
It helps you understand the Scriptures and the relevance of the information you receive as you study the Bible.
It is inspiration from God to understand and act on His Word. It helps you to understand the Scriptures and to live them practically.
The spirit of wisdom and revelation will lead you to understand more clearly what God is doing in your life and what hope He has called you to have and what you can look forward to in the future.
Wisdom also goes beyond the study of Scripture to practical insights for dealing with everyday situations. This is a prayer subject to be taken very seriously.
Those who will win are those who are able to deal wisely with the affairs of life, and this is done by growing in wisdom and spiritual understanding.
James 1:5 lets us know that God will give wisdom to those who ask - and he will give it generously, finding no fault in you. Go ahead and ask for all the wisdom you need.
So, what are the prayer points that come out of this? Pray that God will give you His wisdom and insight into the knowledge of Him.

God gave the Holy Spirit to the church to guide us daily on our Christian path. The Holy Spirit is God Himself. He is known in Scripture as the Spirit of the Father and the Spirit of the Son. He is the Spirit of God.
He is the main person who walks with the Christian today.
Anyone who knows God today knows him because he has a relationship with the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit brings the presence of God to you so you know that God is always with you.
He is the interpreter of Scripture for a Christian, the one sent to help a believer live a victorious Christian life.
He is the helper that Jesus promised his disciples just before leaving the earth.
Every Christian must know the Holy Spirit intimately in order to derive maximum benefit from His presence and ministry in his life.
Daily communion with the Holy Spirit is what matures you as a believer, increases your faith and trust in God, and gives you a better knowledge of who God wants you to be and how you want to live.
Also, daily communion and fellowship with the Holy Spirit will keep you aligned with God and always open to hearing His guidance for your life.
To say that one must always seek a closer relationship with the Holy Spirit would be an understatement.
Knowing Him is essential to being a victor and a successful Christian. Praying constantly that God will reveal Himself to you more and more through your communion with the Holy Spirit is imperative.
It is also important to pray that you will recognize His voice as He speaks to you in the many ways He can and speaks. The Holy Spirit is God's blessing upon His church; get to know him better today!
Jesus gave the church a constant commission to go out and win the lost to themselves.
The lost are those who have come to know and respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ by placing their faith in Him for their personal salvation from sin and death.
That is the supreme calling of every believer: to be a channel through which the lost come to know Christ and make the decision to come unto Him.
This commission requires that we have compassion for the lost and unsaved, the injured and broken, the abused and the afflicted of this world.
Compassion is what drives us to action. Compassion will lead us to go out and be a blessing to a suffering and dying world. Many people encounter the lost every day but have no drive to win them to Christ.
It takes the compassion of Jesus Christ to care for the lost and unsaved and to do all we can to win them.
Knowing what to do is great, but compassion is the final push that moves you to action. It will make us determined to win the lost at any cost.
As the end draws nearer, the commission to make disciples of all nations is ever more urgent than before.
Every Christian needs to have a missionary spirit and think about how he or she can personally participate in the missionary work.
These are the types of prayer points that should be taken very seriously. Pray and ask God to strengthen your passion and give you compassion for the lost, compassion that will move you to action and keep you going in the quest for a soul winner.
The Church is the worldwide fellowship of believers and we are one. All believers around the world make up the body of Christ on earth.
But every believer meets in a smaller congregation of Christians.
The local assembly is the living body of Christ to which every Christian must belong. At this level the believer is served daily and cared for in the Lord.
It is also the means of nurturing and training believers to become responsible Christians who can work for the Lord. You must be committed to a local church to be very effective for the Lord.
In a local church you can become active and serve God in a specific capacity. Whether it's a ministry, a department, or some other special assignment, the local church is your place to contribute to what the Lord wants done.
Here you submit to the vision of God as given to the minister in charge of the congregation, and that is the framework in which you serve God to accomplish what God wants to do.
All of the talents, gifts and callings in your life can be used in this local church for the benefit of all there and beyond.
Service in a local congregation also helps ground you and build the discipline that leads to discipleship. It deepens your devotion to the Lord and helps you find a structured approach to serving God.
You are able to serve God in a visible, measurable way that can increase over time as you commit to doing more for God.
Every Christian needs to pray that God will give them the grace and ability to serve in one capacity or another in their local congregation and to work even harder to do so.
God has a plan for everyone. And in that plan there are general directions to go and there are specific things that each person must accomplish.
The success of your life is directly related to how much of God's will and purpose for your specific life you can accomplish on earth.
Every Christian must strive to know and walk toward that purpose.
There is a plan that every child of God must follow; Some things are general and apply to all believers everywhere, while others are quite unique to individuals and God's particular plan for each of His people.
Knowing God's will for your life will ease your choices and help you make useful choices that will propel you in the right direction.
You will make the right decisions about your life, family, career, finances, ministry, and various other aspects of your life because you will know better what God wants you to do with your life for Him.
It will also help you avoid certain mistakes on your way to fulfilling God's dream for your life.
Praying like this is good for every believer. It will surely save you from many bad decisions, mistakes, missed opportunities, and unnecessary detours and will accelerate your progress on your path to being who God wants you to be.

Everyone who serves God must remain true to their calling and God's commission.
Everyone who serves God must remain true to their calling and God's commission.
Serving God and living a daily Christian life brings challenges—challenges that can shake your faith or cause you to doubt the God who saved you and called you to be unto you.
Beginning is not everything in serving God; It is important that everyone who comes to God be true to the call.
Prayer points like this are crucial. Always pray that God will strengthen your heart with His Word and through fellowship with His Spirit so that you may have complete confidence that He is with you and nothing can drown you if you follow Him.
Regardless of the challenges one may face along the journey, it is important to stay true to the end and not give up along the way.
When that happens, you can overcome adversity, trials, challenges, or difficulties no matter what you face.
You will emerge from any trial, trial, or tribulation stronger than you went in, and you will have learned something that will help you be a better version of yourself as you move on.
Pray that God will help you stay true to him no matter what happens in your life, that you will trust him to guide you through the storms you inevitably have to face and keep you from increasing your hope and trust in him to lose.
The Christian life is spiritual. As much as most Christians want to serve God faithfully, there is a devil who works against everything that God stands for.
Make no mistake about it; the supernatural is real and more real than the physical world. What is happening there has undeniable implications for what is happening to us in the earthly realm.
However, the Word of God assures us that we have authority over the devil and all his works, strategies and tricks in the name of Jesus.
This authority was gained by Jesus when he rose from the dead and God elevated him to the place of supreme authority—his own right hand in heaven.
God gave Jesus Christ all authority in heaven and on earth. (see Mathau 28:18) The Scriptures further show that every knee should bow at the name of Jesus everywhere—in heaven, on earth, and in the wicked underworld (see Philippians 2:9-10).
Understanding that authority, how it works, and how to exercise it over the devil, circumstances, and adversity is critical to living a victorious Christian life so that you can break free of its influence and gain in your walk with God.
Every Christian must exercise their authority daily and remain free from manipulation and demonic influence.
The more you understand this authority, the more self-confidence you will grow and the more you can exercise it, and the more and better results you can achieve with it.
Understanding the authority of Jesus' name also comes through revelation, and as God reveals the glory of that name to your heart, you will be able to address larger issues and see them being resolved.
These prayers will help you grow as an all round Christian, ready and prepared to be a blessing to your world. Make prayer your consistent lifestyle and pray these prayers daily for yourself or for others and the results will amaze you. Do it!
